Sarah Emmaline Lewallen was born on 26 October 1844 in Yellville, Arkansas and died 14 March 1912 in Chautauqua Co., Township of Lafayette, Kansas.
Andrew Jackson Hogan was born 16 November 1843 in Putnam County, Indiana and died 25 Spetember 1922.  They are both buried in the St. Charles Cemetery in Chautauqua Co., kansas.  They were married on 28 September 1865 in Johnson Co., Kansas.
The family knew Andrew Jackson Hogan as A.J.
A. J. was the son of William Hogan born 1804 in TN and Jane Gorden born 1812 in Indiana.
A, J.'s parents, William Hogan & Jane Gorden had the following children we have knowledge of:

A. J. 's father, William Hogan was born 1804 in Tn and died 8 May 1888 in Chatauqua Co., kansas.  William is buried in the West Cemetery, Salt Creek Township, Chatauqua, kansas.
The parents of William born 1804 were William Hogan  & Nancy Wadlow.
Nancy Wadlow was the daughter of William Wadlow and Rachel Love.  Rachel was born 15 October 1778 in Maryland and died 8 october 1853.
A.J. & Sarah appear on the Chatauqua Co., Kansas 1910 Census:
Andrew J. Hogan age 65 born abt. 1845 in Indiana is listed as head of Household.  This census indicate his father was born in Ky. and his mother was born in Indiana.  His wife is listed as Sarah E. Hogan.
